Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Experience with light and/or medium duty vehicles, with Class 8 / heavy duty experience being a strong plus. Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions. The ideal candidate is self-directed, works hard without being managed, and takes pride in the quality of their work and professional reputation. A drive to earn more when the opportunity is there is a must. ASE certification is a plus, but not required.

The Role

What You'll Do

You’ll operate out of your own dedicated, fully equipped service truck — performing on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on customer fleet vehicles across the Columbus area.

Primary work is on light and medium duty vehicles, with assignments extending to Class 8 trucks. You manage your route. You do quality work. You represent PFM in the field.

Are You Built for This?

The Right Kind of Tech

This isn’t a climate-controlled shop job. You’re outside. You’re under vehicles. You’re solving problems on the fly — and when you’re done, a business that was dead in the water is back on the road because of you.

The techs who thrive here don’t need to be managed because their own standards are higher than any supervisor’s. They take it personally when something isn’t fixed right.

If that sounds like you — we want to hear from you.
